As his clientele grew beyond the local area, he expanded his talents to the corporate and non-profit events industry in New York City. Over the past fifteen years, numerous Fortune 500 companies and global non-profit organizations have trusted Zak with designing their events. From small cocktail receptions to large scale galas, Zak focuses on an incredible, unparalleled level of service and an extraordinary commitment to exquisite quality… one event at a time.

Melissa Ricapito

Production Manager

Melissa started her career in the events industry some 25 years ago and hasn’t looked back. Joining the ZAK Events team in 2010, her commitment to producing jaw-dropping designs for our clients never ceases to amaze the eye. Over her extensive career, Melissa has designed events for a long list of celebrities, dignitaries and socialites alike. Today, Melissa heads up our entire production department, ensuring that every detail is executed with flawless precision.

TIFFANY MULVANEY

Lead Event Design Manager

Tiffany’s career within the corporate events industry spans over 12 years. For the past 8 of those years, she served as the Project Manager for National Events at Verizon Wireless. Her experience includes managing client sponsorship campaigns, planning c-suite hospitality events, procuring various sponsors including the NFL, NBA and IndyCar, as well as managing a nationwide team of staff, vendors and partners for these events.

MICHAEL FRIEDMAN

Business Development Manager

Michael started his marketing and sales career in his hometown of Boston over 10 years ago.  Since then, his focus has been on cultivating and maintaining client relationships in the events industry.  In the years leading up to joining ZAK Events, he worked at a nonprofit event venue in central Manhattan producing high end events for luxury brands, non-profit organizations, and social clients.  Michael joined the ZAK Events team in January 2018 to apply his industry knowledge to our current clients, as well as act as an ambassador to potential clients.

Tom Johnston

Business Manager

Our resident accountant and business manager, Tom infuses a wide range of management skills into our company. Human resources, bookkeeping, insurance forms and general business contracts are just a few of the tasks that Tom manages on a day to day basis. With his 35 years of managerial expertise, Tom’s focus is to keep our organization running with a fluid and highly efficient process.

ERIC BROUCA

Assistant Production Designer

Eric’s invaluable skillset widely ranges from building various props, set flats, scenic designs and furniture to expert management of setting up and installing our designs onsite. Eric’s 10+ years of experience ensure that our events operate smoothly and efficiently both in our production warehouse and at various venues throughout the country.
